Candidate Profiles for Zion City Commissioner - 2015

The Candidate Profiles for the Commissioner election are in this weeks edition of the Zion Benton News. Per Mona Shannon's request, I kept my answers short (this time!), and I see that she used my old picture for some reason.

This is a first look at some of the other candidates running, so please encourage people to look carefully, not only at their qualifications, but also at how they answer the questions that were posed.

Are they proposing real solutions, or just restating the problem(s) and saying they will fix it, somehow?

In this election and the last, I have done the groundwork and the research on the issues, and offered real-world proposals to address them:

A New Comprehensive Development Plan - Plan4Zion is now underway.

An Abandoned Property Registration Program - Enacted

A Rental Property Licensing and Inspection Program - Proposed in Council just this week

These are serious times, and we need serious people to meet the challenges we face.

It will take people who are willing to do the hard work of governance, researching and crafting real solutions to solve our problems.

I'm serious. I've done the research, and I am ready to work.

To do so, I need your support on April 7th.
